This semester the Center will again focus on specific awareness skills that improve attention, focus and self-management and can be practiced in many “mindful moments” throughout the day

Programs for Students

  • Mindful Student Leader Training (Hybrid)

This weekly 3 to 5 hour a week semester long training and leadership program includes weekly 1 ½ hours of formal training and a variety of other assignments and group activities.

Weekly Training Program:  Fridays from 12:30 PM to 2 PM

  • Improving Productivity and Increasing Happiness Workshops (In-Person)

During this one-hour experiential workshop you will learn how to partner with your mind and body to function better in your life.  The core elements, history and science of mindfulness will be explored. You will experiment with different mindful moment activities.

  • Unwinding Anxiety with Mindfulness Based Habit Change[1] Series (In-Person)

Many of us walk around without awareness of how our habitual thought patterns and behaviors are creating anxiety and undermining our productivity and happiness.  During this three-week program you will learn how your brain works and how to work with it.

During this one-hour experiential zoom workshop you will learn how to partner with your mind and body to function better in your life.  After briefly recapping key aspects of mindfulness, we will explore how to work with typical challenges that arise in your life with a variety of mindful moment practices.
